Blue moissanite in the cushion cut at 8.3ct DEW creates one of the most romantically beautiful combinations in the collection — the cushion's large, soft-edged facets produce slow, dramatic blue-tinted fire flashes at an extraordinary scale.
The cushion cut's larger individual facets create a different fire experience than the round brilliant's small, dense facets. In a blue cushion, the large facets produce fewer but more dramatic coloured flashes — each one covering several millimetres of visible surface. The blue body colour interacts with these large facets to create deep, slow, room-sized blue-tinged fire that is more visually immersive than the constant small sparkle of a round brilliant. At 8.3ct DEW and approximately 13.5mm square, the cushion cut's facets are operating at a scale where each individual fire flash is clearly visible — a visual experience that feels closer to standing near a large blue gemstone than wearing a ring.
