The 5.95ct round moissanite delivers a diameter of approximately 11.8mm — a stone that produces dazzling brilliance and fire at a scale normally reserved for the rarest natural diamonds.
Brilliance refers to the amount of white light reflected back from inside the stone to the viewer's eye — it's the bright, white sparkle associated with diamonds and moissanite. Fire (dispersion) refers to the splitting of white light into its spectral colours (rainbow) as it passes through the stone — the coloured flashes that dance across the facets. Moissanite excels at both: it has higher brilliance than most natural gemstones and significantly higher fire (dispersion 0.104) than diamond (0.044). In a nearly 6ct round brilliant, both properties operate at maximum scale.
