What does G-H VS mean on a diamond certificate?

G-H refers to the colour grade. On the GIA colour scale from D (colourless) to Z (light yellow), G-H is “near colourless” — white to the naked eye with no detectable tint. VS (Very Slightly Included) is the clarity grade — inclusions are only visible under 10× magnification, completely invisible to the naked eye. G-H VS is considered the ideal quality range for diamond jewelry: excellent appearance at a better price than D-F Internally Flawless.
