Vermeil(pronouncedver-may) is a premium fine-jewelry material — a base of solid 925 sterling silver bonded with a thick, durable layer of solid gold. Under the U.S. Federal Trade Commission standard, a piece must carry at least2.5 micronsof 10k gold or higher to be sold as vermeil.
This piece is plated with5 microns of solid 18k gold— twice the FTC minimum — over a 925 sterling silver core. You get the warmth, lustre, and richness of solid 18k gold jewelry, the lightness and hypoallergenic comfort of sterling silver, and a finish engineered to last for years of regular wear.
Every diamond we sell is independently graded and certified by one of three internationally recognised gemmological laboratories — your guarantee of authenticity, accurate carat weight, and verified clarity and colour grade. The applicable certificate ships with your order.

To keep your 18k Gold Vermeil piece looking its best for years:
• Store in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box when not worn — separate from other pieces to prevent scratching.
• Avoid contact with perfume, hair products, lotion, chlorine, and prolonged moisture.
• Remove before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
• Clean gently with a soft microfibre cloth — do not use harsh chemical jewelry cleaners on vermeil.
• With normal care, the 5-micron 18k gold layer retains its lustre for years of regular wear.

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of ordering only; production begins within 5 hours of payment.
Ready-stock (non-custom) items may be returned within 30 days of shipment, or exchanged within 45 days.
