Every diamond and gemstone sold by GEMHUB & CO. is independently graded by a recognised laboratory before it leaves our workshop. Certification is your guarantee that the stone you receive matches what you paid for — its carat weight, colour, clarity, cut and origin are all verified by a neutral third party, not by us.

Who certifies our jewellery?

We work with two of the most trusted independent gemological laboratories in the world:

  • IGI (International Gemological Institute) — the world's largest independent lab, headquartered in Antwerp, with offices across the US, Europe, India and the Far East. IGI is the leading authority for laboratory-grown diamonds.
  • GIA (Gemological Institute of America) — the lab that created the modern 4Cs grading standard and is widely regarded as the gold standard for natural diamond reports.

What you receive with every order

When your piece arrives, the parcel includes:

  • The original IGI or GIA certificate (full report or mini report card, depending on stone size).
  • A unique report number laser-inscribed on the diamond's girdle (visible under 10× magnification).
  • A GEMHUB & CO. authenticity card linking the piece to its certificate number.
  • Tamper-evident packaging so you can confirm the parcel has not been opened in transit.

How to read your certificate

Each report shows the four key grading attributes — carat weight, colour grade, clarity grade and cut grade — along with measurements, polish, symmetry, fluorescence and a plotted diagram of any internal characteristics. Below are sample reports so you know exactly what to expect.

Verify your certificate

You can independently confirm any GEMHUB & CO. certificate at the issuing lab's official report-check service. Enter the report number printed on your certificate (or laser-inscribed on the stone) at the relevant link below:

Lost your certificate?

If your physical certificate is misplaced, the laboratory's online record is permanent — your stone's full report will always be retrievable using its report number. Contact our team at care@gemhubco.com with your order number and we will resend a digital copy of your certificate within one business day.
